Plum Street Snoballs in New Orleans

This has been a go to place since I was a kid. The flavors are good and consistent. If you see a line, don't worry, it moves fast. Try the Orchid Cream or Banana Cream. Better yet, do a half and half. You won't regret it.

Great prices & fast service. Also, I love their flavor selection. This time I got a medium Frozen Mintz in a cup which is a creamer version of Spearmint, my dad got Spearmint small in a cup and my son got Cotton Candy with gumballs in a small Chinese pale. All 3 came to only $7.35.... so cheap & so good. This is by far my favorite snowball stand in all of Nola.

snowballs are very good customer services not so great. made my snowball very messy all the juice was at the bottom of the plastic bag. when i went back up there to get another snowball because the one i had was messy the lady rolled her eyes like she was annoyed and murmured something under her breath i politely asked for my money back if she had a problem with me wanting what i paid for A good non messy snowball.

I live across street most of the guess act like where I live at a part of the business they make it unbearable to come on the out side of your house management seam like ok as long as they sell snow ball and it suck

I took a visit here today because I wanted some snow cones. It wasn’t crowded but there was minimum people there and they already had their snow cones. I walk in and they greet me and they seemed pretty pushy on getting my order and then getting me out of there quickly. It was my first time and I was looking for what I wanted. They gave me my (cotton candy) snow-cone and the girl who was putting the syrup on put it all over the snow cone and didn’t even wipe the cup with all of that sugary juice on it so it was really sticky. I asked for some ice to balance the syrup out and they were really rude about it too. That’s my first and last experience here.

I have been dying to get a plum street snoball. I Love the fact that i can get a snoball in a Chinese to go container wrapped in a plastic bag!! This is a absolute win all the way around

The owner was so sweet. I told her it was my first time and she even let me sample the flavors before I settled on a large peach mango snowball. It was truly delicious. Will definitely be back

Outstanding snowballs. I had heard about this place but really didnt know just how good they were. Upon entering, you could smell all the flavors and after I received my order, I was just blown away. This place really rocks and wont disappoint. If your in the New Orleans area, come check this out. Its a must

We went there and they were trying to make use to make a fast decision and made them really really messy. The girl who filled my cup filled the juice all the way to the top of the cup until it was spilling out and the flavor I chose(strawberry) was already strong if i barely tip the cup and juice would come out. I went back up to ask for more ice, she gave me some ice but like threw it at me and ice spilled everywhere on counter and handed me the same plastic bag that had suryp all over it. If I pay for something I expect something worth it like actual nice employees and not throwing ice on me. Would not go there if you are diabetic either so much sugar but not in a good way

This is an iconic place to go for snowballs. Yet, I tend to find them overly sweet. You can get your snowball in a Chinese takeaway box apparatus, but I wouldn't recommend it as alot of your snowball will end up in the plastic bag that comes with it. Plenty of flavors to choose from, so I'm sure you'll enjoy it on a hot day!

A New Orleans landmark, Plum Street is the place to be when needing a snowball. Their wide variety of flavors (including cream flavors and chocolate) make it a must on hot summer days/nights. A couple tips from a local: know what you want before order (it’s a small space and not much time for pondering), have cash because that’s all they take, and be nice or leave. Enjoy your snowball and don’t forget to come back multiple times.

Fantastic snowballs. The long line moves relatively fast and theyre well worth it. Mom had the banana foster cream which was fantastic. I had a half almond and half nectar which was equally great. Good prices and friendly staff. Cash only.

For the first time ever, my order was wrong. I ordered a small pail. Apparently the cashier rang up a small. I ordered a half lemon meringue half chocolate. I received all chocolate. Idk how I feel about going back.

Best snowballs in the town only thing is that I wish there was more seating play sit so popular lines were long but other than that those things are phenomenal!!! If you want a good snowball come to this place

Hands down the BEST snowball in NOLA! Donna and her husband have been running it for 40 years and have never missed a beat. Their customer service is top notch and their flavors are to die for!!! Cream Ice Cream is my all time FAVORITE!!!I lived in Dallas and now NC and rarely get to town in the summer. They are closed in the winter and I'm so bummed. I have been coming here well over 40 years and won't stop. Donna and staff, keep doing what you do best...wear the best smiles ever and serving the BEST snowballs NOLA has to offer! God speed!

It was easy to reach someone by phone!! Ordered 9 gallons of snowballs for a special event. They helped me quickly to order what I needed and pay in advance with a credit card. When I arrived to pick up, 2 staff helped me pack and get everything to the car. The snowballs were wonderful and a big hit. We will be back!!

Always rated as one of the Best Snowball stands in New Orleans and crazy selection of traditional and newer flavors and there are spiked ones for the adults they'll add a little spirit to your snowballs that's what Uptown has always rated number one

This is my FAVORITE snowball stand. There is no inside seating and lines can get pretty long so have an idea of what you want. You generally order size first, then tell the next person what flavor you want. This depends on how busy it is. I come here every time I'm back in town. I love asking for a large because they always warn my of how big it is. You can also get snowballs in cups or in Chinese takeout containers. Always get a plastic bag to prevent spilling. They only take CASH.

Our snowballs were pretty tasty, but not as good as the Sno-Bliz at Hansen's. We would come back - our treats did taste pretty good. But, we both agreed we enjoy Hansen's more.The main complaint we have is the flavor and quality of the syrups.

Kids had a great time as did I. We had blueberry, bubble gum, and cherry. My wife didn't have such a good time. She got lemon and it tasted very chemically. All around though Plum Street is always amazing.
